A local architecture shoot for HLM Architects photographing the recently completed extension to Techniquest, the UK's longest established science centre. The new extension provides approx. 1000m2 of additional exhibition space and will highlight new research and developments across the STEM sectors.
Navigating ongoing Covid restrictions in both England and Wales, I managed a visit to Bristol to photograph the new Physical Making Hub at University of West England for Austin Smith:Lord. A near deserted campus as almost all teaching is being done online at universities in the current pandemic. The client was keen to show the 'clutter' of the creative spaces to convey that the space was occupied.
More delicious beef and lamb recipes to photograph this month. Again following on from previous styling, a stripped back style suitable for multiple media formats was used.
An exciting delivery today as I received some copies of the recipe book I worked on with food stylist Nerys Howel earlier this. The photography for this was interrupted by the first Covid 19 lockdown but was a welcome distraction during some tricky months as we returned to work. The book was designed and produced by Welsh publisher Y Lolfa.
It was great to be back working in the studio with food stylist Nerys Howel on a series of recipes promoting Welsh beef and lamb recipes. Following on from previous photography, a stripped back style suitable for multiple media formats was used.

Not a shoot I'd ever imagined I would photograph, these images were for Welsh Government campaigns relating to public health information due to the Covid 19 global pandemic.
After a period of lockdown, it's been good to get back to shooting on location again while working out new ways of working safely in the midst of a global pandemic. This shoot for Darnton B3 architects of the Llys Cadwyn redevelopment in Pontypridd, a mixed-use scheme comprising of offices, community facilities and cafe restaurant space. It's a major element in the regeneration of Pontypridd's town centre at a site that had been derelict for many years.

Another great studio session to photograph the latest work by Susan Phillips.
A visit to Southampton on a crisp winter morning to photography God's House Tower for Purcell. God's House Tower is a new public arts and heritage venue used by the local community in Southampton. The Grade 1 listed building and Scheduled Ancient Monument has had a contemporary extension added, creating capacious exhibition space and accessible visitor facilities.
